When you are confronted with a scary medical situation, you wish and you hope you are at the right hospital
being examined by the right doctor. With Healthnetwork, you know you are at the right place, with the right physician.
For years my local physicians told me I was fine. I knew I wasn’t. As it turned out, my instinct was correct. A biopsy by my local physician revealed pre-cancerous cells on my back needed to be removed. How was I to know what to do? I felt at a quandary with all this information and the that looming decisions that needed to be made.
Thankfully, my in-laws are members of Healthnetwork and I was connected to Pat, one of the medical coordinators. Pat’s was a source of comfort during this stressful situation. She provided me the customized research I needed and informed me of my options. Before I knew it I was on my way to see the head of the melanoma center at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco.
Carolyn and Vicki, the two liaisons at UCSF were amazing. In fact, everyone I met while at the hospital was friendly and helpful. I met with three extraordinary physicians and never once did I feel rushed.
