I am now able to smile without pain, laugh with friends, enjoy sharing conversations, kiss my daughter goodnight, eat, drink, and basically be myself without suffering severe mouth pain with every movement.
My illness started about four years ago with just an annoyance that I thought came from dental work. It continued to get worse and worse until I awoke New Year’s day 2010 and was not able to function. I could not speak, smile, eat, etc., without a severe electrical shock charging my mouth and inner ear.
Good health had always been something that I was blessed with. I am active in sports, yoga, horseback riding, running, and swimming and have had no previous ailments. Unsatisfied with this sudden change in quality of life I looked for another solution.

She provided a wealth of information on my condition and a surgical procedure that could potentially treat the condition. She also helped me to identify physicians and hospitals.
I am so happy to have my life back and so thankful to the Healthnetwork Foundation for all the amazing information, help and support we got along the way. My husband had been receiving this little newsletter for years and we didn’t really give it any thought; until it provided the miracle I had been looking for. Talk about just in time marketing-that newsletter started everything! I think all Vistage members need to be aware of the resources they have in front of them through Healthnetwork.
