I really didn’t expect the experience to be as good as it was. My husband and I moved here from Germany recently. I am pregnant and needed to establish a relationship with an OB/GYN here in San Francisco. My husband is an EO member and we called Healthnetwork because we did not have any medical ties in San Francisco.
Pat, the Healthnetwork Medical Coordinator sent our request to the liaisons at UCSF Medical Center. We began working with someone in the international department who was very helpful in finding us just the right specialist.
The whole process was so easy and fast. The result was even better than we could have expected. We met with a nurse midwife and knew she was absolutely the right person. She was even able to read the medical history we brought with us from Germany and she knew how the German medical system worked. This wasn’t critical – but it was the icing on the cake to make the experience just what we needed.
