All of my preconceptions about facilitated healthcare were shattered the moment I called Healthnetwork.

One bad mammogram and I fell victim to our healthcare system. For the next 18 months my life was defined by Murphy’s Law; anything that could go wrong went wrong. Complications from biopsies and infections kept me under my local surgeon’s care for three months. Yet, I still did not have a definitive diagnosis. There was a constant worry about whether or not I had cancer and my care was being directed by the last person to see me with no one overseeing my entire case.

I was skiing down a mountain in Western Canada when a snowboarder crashed into me, sending us both tumbling.
