“My father in law was a reasonably healthy 84 years old – he kept active and played golf until last year (although as he would tell you, his score continued to go up!) Within the last few months, my wife and her siblings started noticing that he was struggling with issues of muscle weakness and slowing motor skills. When he experienced a few falls recently we knew we needed to take action.

I called Healthnetwork to ask for their assistance. Healthnetwork immediately took action and within hours put us in touch with the Geriatric Assessment program at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Robert Palmer quickly made time for us in his busy schedule before an upcoming trip out of the country.

Dr. Robert Palmer was wonderful. Everyone we came in contact with was so helpful and quite professional. We were reassured by their competence and knew we were in great hands. Dr. Palmer’s review of my father-in-law’s medical history was so thorough and he was able to make a number of significant recommendations. In particular, Palmer advised decreasing the number of medications my father-in-law was taking. After the assessment was completed, Dr. Palmer followed with a phone report of this office visit and a suggested course of action. He then made additional test appointments for the following days that we were there. And again, he made personal phone calls to us to explain the test results. We felt even more reassured that we had taken the right steps for my father-in-law’s care.
