I learned of Healthnetwork through my Vistage membership--a fellow member captivated us with his experience at one of our meetings. My wife and I were looking for good health options – we were at an age where we wanted to focus on our health.  We donated to the Healthnetwork GOLD program as a ‘healthy’ investment in us. We received our GOLD cards, put them in our wallets and went about our lives.

A few months later, I went to see my physician for my yearly checkup.  Late one Thursday night, I received a call from my physician suggesting that I needed surgery and should look into surgical options quickly. Very early the next morning I called Healthnetwork and asked what options they had for me.  I remembered they had Mayo Clinic Arizona as one of their hospitals so I asked the Healthnetwork medical coordinator if they could set me up with a surgical second opinion there. I had specific dates in mind when I would be at our winter home nearby and asked if there was anyway they could accommodate my schedule. 

I was very impressed with the swiftness of the whole process.  Somehow the liaison at Mayo Clinic Arizona found time in a very impressive surgeon’s busy schedule for him to meet me. The service level was incredible; the Healthnetwork’s medical coordinator, the liaison and the physician’s office were very kind and followed up  with me multiple times to make sure everything was in place for my appointments and my surgery.
