Why is Healthnetwork a 501 (c) (3) organization?

Rather than operate Healthnetwork as a profit-making venture, founder Bill Rowley was far more interested in creating a model that would encourage business leaders whom  Healthnetwork has helped to fund critically needed medical research and development. Healthnetwork's mission is to provide access to business leaders creating a bond between leaders and hospitals with the goal of improving medicine for all. Healthnetwork's non-profit model mirrors many of our hospitals' non-profit models.

What is the Healthnetwork GOLD Program?

The unique and priceless medical access that Healthnetwork Foundation provides on a daily basis would not be possible without the generosity of our members. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, one of the ways we continue to grow our philanthropy is through gifts to our GOLD program from members who have been served by our unique organization or from donors who believe in the importance of our mission.  Tax-deductible donations to the Healthnetwork GOLD program make the following possible:

VIP Access into more than 30 top medical institutions

Health Education in the form of customized research and presentations at private events by Healthnetwork’s Medical Director, Susan Locke, M.D.

Research grants known as Service Excellence Awards are given annually by Healthnetwork to 10 exemplary physicians to fund their ground-breaking research

Dedicated Offices inside top hospitals; these offices demonstrate the hospital leaderships’ commitment to extraordinary care for members and their families

Hospital Donations to support programs, services and departments that will improve future experiences for Healthnetwork members.

What is the cost?

Once we connect you with our hospital partners, you will work directly with the hospital concerning your payment and insurance issues. You are responsible for the cost of all medical care you receive from the hospital and physician. Healthnetwork does not get involved with any health insurance, billing or payment issues. Please check with your health insurance carrier for coverage information before making a decision to use a hospital or physician.
